The Introduction
My name is Mark, and I have recently graduated from the University of Dundee with a first-class Honours in BSc Applied Computing, with MBCS.
This might not be a big deal to some, but I'm still rather proud of studying here in Scotland. After all, not many Maltese undergraduates leave their homes - and their country - at age 18 to go study somewhere they've never even been before. Crazy? Yes. Worth it? Definitely.
The Achievements
I have two full-length books written and (will forever be) unpublished. Wrote one at age 16, and one at age 20 - looking back, they are both incredibly childish and immature. Or perhaps that's just the perfectionist within me speaking; with new experiences come new challenges, and new things I need to improve on. I have ideas for my third book -- this one I want to take seriously and perhaps even publish. Random excerpts will appear on LJ whenever I write them. Which, knowing me, could either be tonight, or the next time I update this thing.
I am also somewhat of an organizer, and I completed a TEFL course. I have sadly worked with the evil clown (read: McDonald's) for a month before taking part in Spielberg's Munich as an extra, before dedicating my Summer time to teaching - two years in a row. I spent a Summer working as a cleaner for student flats. 35 hours a week, for 16 weeks. Spent a Summer working in a real company, doing programming and stuff - in past years I was an IT tutor, a C++ tutor, a personal tutor and an IT Technician.. as well as a research assistant. Am currently designing and coding the website for a diocese within the Scottish Episcopal Church. I have worked in many different areas, and as a result, my CV is overflowing. Which is a good thing, for a recent graduate.
One of my biggest achievements is probably winning Yahoo!'s (yes, the search engine) Hack Day that they hosted at our uni in 2007 - and for that the three of us got a Nintendo Wii. :-)
The Conclusion
That is all.

MindMap
I have no idea what this is supposed to be.
